Turkey wishbone becomes the handle for this miniature basket

or

(2) Make a Lashing Sampler-

Traditional God’s Eye, Braided God’s Eye,  Drowsy Eye and Diamond Eye

Arlene Vandeloop will

assist those making a turkey wishbone basket.

We will have hoops and lashing instructions to make

a sampler. Need to RSVP.

So I have enough hoops.

  Bring ¼ or 3/8 FF reed.

FEBRUARY 20^th

(1)   BLACK TI KITS – From Bases to Weave.(Rescheduled from October 2009) Still have 2 kits, $32.00

(2)   Black Ti Bases, Handles and Pattern – you provide weaving materials- Call Gail Kretz

Sand both base and handle before class. You may want to already have your spokes inserted, so you can begin weaving  the basket

today.

Scrap Reed Baskets

Bring in any scraps of Flat or Round Reed to share. We will have a assortment of patterns, from bowl shaped baskets, water bottle covers,

utensil baskets, etc

This is just a fun way to use up scraps. If you don’t have any,come anyway; those of us who do have them will be glad to see them used and not  taking up so much room.
